Have you got Lemon Oil in your home?

Lemon oil is one of the most popular essential oils, and you likely already have many products that smell like lemon in your home…there is a reason!

Have you heard that squeezing lemon juice in your water can detoxify your body? It’s true - but using lemon juice can really harm your teeth enamel, and lemon essential oil comes from the cold-pressed rind of the lemons, so you get the gentle detox you want, but not the acidity of the juice which taken daily can cause damage to your teeth! Cold pressing is typically used for citrus oils when producing essential oils, and uses high mechanical pressure to produce oil from the citrus rind. While other distillation processes use heat, the process of cold pressing merely squeezes the oil from the rind, with the help of mechanical pressure. (SAFETY NOTE: best to avoid direct sunlight when using any citrus essential oil.)

We use doTERRA lemon oil which is sourced from citrus orchards in Sicily, where families who have grown lemons and bergamot for generations and is highly sought after for its purity and potency.
